Studio Policies

The following policies are subject to changes at any time at the discretion of CMW Sounds LLC. 

To ensure a smooth, consistent, and professional experience for all students, please review the following policies.

General Policies:

Monthly Enrollment: Tuition reserves your weekly lesson time and is billed monthly.

Autopay Required: All students must have a valid card on file with autopay enabled.

24-Hour Notice: At least 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations to qualify for a makeup lesson.

Makeup Limit: One makeup lesson is allowed per month and must be used prior to leave of studio.

No-Shows / Late Cancellations: Lessons missed without proper notice are forfeited.

Late Payments: Payments not completed by the 5th incur a $15 late fee.

30-Day Notice: Required for any lesson cancellations or schedule changes.

Consistency Matters: Regular attendance and practice are essential for vocal growth.

Scheduling & Attendance:

Lessons are held weekly at a consistent time to support steady progress. Students are expected to:

Arrive on time and prepared

Bring music, water, and a recording device

Take responsibility for tracking their lesson schedule

Makeup Lessons:

One makeup lesson permitted per month

Must be requested with 24-hour notice

Must be used within the same billing cycle

Scheduled on designated makeup days

Lessons missed due to tardiness (15+ minutes late) may be forfeited.

Billing & Tuition:

Tuition is billed on the 1st of each month via autopay

Payments not processed by the 5th incur a $15 late fee

$20 one-time registration fee is required upon enrollment

Tuition reserves your time slot and is non-refundable

Tuition is not prorated for missed lessons, holidays, or studio closures

Cancellations & Absences:

24-hour notice required for student cancellations

Less than 24 hours = no makeup (except illness)

Instructor-canceled lessons will be rescheduled

Planned absences require 30 days’ notice

Illness Policy:

Students should not attend lessons if experiencing:

Fever, Pain when speaking or singing, Stomach illness

Lessons may still be held for minor conditions (fatigue, allergies, etc.).

Illness-related absences may qualify for a makeup lesson.

Virtual Studio Expectations:

All lessons are held virtually via Zoom. Students are expected to: Join on time, Be in a quiet, distraction-free space

Have a stable internet connection

Enrollment & Commitment:

Enrollment is month-to-month and reserves your weekly lesson time.

A 30-day written notice is required to cancel lessons

Tuition remains due during the notice period

Schedule changes must be requested during the first week of the month. Studio placement is not guaranteed if enrollment is paused
